What happens after the EterMail unlocks?
Once the 30-day retention period is up, private EterMails will be deleted. Please download or save your content before expiration! Want it to last longer? Simply set your EterMail to semi-public or public to preserve it permanently on EterWall for everyone to read.
What is the difference between private, semi-public, and public?
Private: Only the recipient can access the EterMail. After the retention period, it will be deleted.
Semi-public: The title, cover image, and sender identity are public on EterWall, but the detailed content and recipient information are hidden securely.
Public: The content and sender information are fully visible on EterWall, and the EterMail will be permanently preserved.
Are there any content restrictions?
To ensure optimal storage and delivery through time, here are the generous limits per EterMail:
- Text: Up to 50,000 words
- Photos: Up to 9 images (compressed to 1080p quality)
- Video: Up to 10 minutes in length (1080p quality)
