This free AI email generator writes a complete first draft for you: three subject lines, preview text and the email body. It works as an AI email writer for marketing emails (sales, product launches, newsletters, welcome emails, abandoned cart reminders, win-back) and for sales emails such as cold outreach, follow-ups and replies to customers. No sign-up is needed for your first drafts.
How to use the AI email generator
- Pick the email type. Each type follows a different structure. A welcome email introduces your brand. An abandoned cart reminder points to what was left behind. A cold email stays short and asks one clear question.
- Describe what you sell. One or two sentences about your brand and your customers is enough, for example "Handmade soy candles with essential oils for people who like calm, minimalist homes."
- Add the key points. Put in the offer, the product, the deadline or the one thing the reader must know. Leave it blank and the draft stays general.
- Choose a tone and language. Friendly, professional, playful or urgent-but-honest, in English or Chinese.
- Generate, then edit. Copy the subject line you like best and edit the body so it sounds like you. A draft is a starting point, not a finished email.
What makes a good email draft
The generator follows the same rules a good copywriter would. Knowing them helps you judge and edit the result.
- One email, one job. Every draft has a single call to action. Emails that ask readers to do three things usually get none of them done.
- The subject line makes a promise the email keeps. Clear beats clever. The generator avoids fake "Re:" or "Fwd:" prefixes and invented urgency. Those can break the law and they damage trust. Our guide to email subject lines has 130 examples by purpose.
- Preview text adds information. It continues the subject line instead of repeating it.
- Short paragraphs, plain words. Most people read email on a phone. Two or three sentences per paragraph is plenty.
- Specific beats generic. "Your Cedar Night candle is still in your cart" works better than "You forgot something". Give the generator real product names and real offers.
Examples you can generate
| Email type | What the draft focuses on |
|---|---|
| Promotion or sale | The offer, who it's for, when it ends |
| Product launch | What is new and why it matters to the reader |
| Newsletter | One useful idea, then one link |
| Welcome | Who you are, what to expect, a first step |
| Abandoned cart | The product left behind and an easy way back |
| Win-back | What changed since they last bought, a reason to return |
| Cold outreach | A relevant opening line, one problem, one question |
| Follow-up | A short nudge that adds something new |
| Reply to a customer | A clear answer in a helpful tone |

Before you send: a quick checklist
An AI draft still needs a human check before it reaches your list.
- Facts. Check prices, dates, product names and links. The generator only knows what you typed.
- Voice. Read it out loud. Change any phrase you would never say.
- Compliance. Marketing email needs an unsubscribe link and your postal address. In the US that's the CAN-SPAM Act. In the EU and UK you also need consent before you send.
- Deliverability. Send from your own domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up. Our SPF, DKIM and DMARC guide explains how.
- Cold email rules. Cold outreach should go from separate mailboxes and domains, with a real sender identity and an easy opt-out.
What the generator will not write
To keep it useful and safe, the generator refuses some requests:
- Phishing or impersonation, such as emails pretending to be a bank, a government office or a delivery company, or asking for passwords or account verification.
- Deceptive subject lines or false claims.
- Adult content, or emails promoting illegal goods or services.
Your privacy
We don't store what you type into the generator. The text is sent to an AI provider to write your draft, and the provider may process it under its own terms. We only keep a counter of how many drafts were made, to apply the daily limit.
Free limits
You can generate 3 drafts a day without an account. When you reach the limit, your last draft stays on the page so you can copy it.
To keep writing, sign up for EterMail free: you get 1,000 free credits and no card is needed. EterMail is our product.
From one draft to a whole email program
This tool writes one email at a time from a short description. EterMail does the same job with your real brand and products:
- It learns your brand. Enter your website and the AI picks up your voice, logo, colours and featured products.
- Drafts use real data. For Shopify stores, product blocks come straight from your catalogue.
- It covers campaigns and automated flows. Campaigns support subject line A/B tests. Flows include welcome, browse abandonment, abandoned checkout, post-purchase and win-back.
- You approve every send by default. AI drafts, a person approves.
- Pictures too. AI can also make the pictures: on-brand banners, or scenes built from your real product photo, with an optional short greeting.

FAQ
Is the AI email generator really free?
Yes. You can create 3 drafts a day without an account or a card. If you need more, a free EterMail account comes with 1,000 credits and doesn't need a card either.
Can I use the emails it writes for my business?
Yes. The drafts are yours to edit and send. Check facts, links and offers first, and make sure marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and your postal address.
What's the difference between an AI email generator and an AI email assistant?
An AI email generator writes a new email from a short brief, which is what this page does. An AI email assistant usually works inside your inbox or email platform, drafting replies and follow-ups with context from past messages. EterMail's unified inbox works that way: the AI classifies each reply and drafts an answer you can edit and send.
Can it write cold emails?
Yes. Pick "Cold outreach" or "Follow-up". Keep cold emails short, personal and relevant, and send them from mailboxes and domains that are separate from your marketing email. Our cold email deliverability guide explains why.
Does it write in Chinese?
Yes. Choose English or Chinese before you generate. Write your brand description in either language.
Will AI-written emails go to spam?
Spam filters judge your sending domain, authentication, complaint rate and list quality far more than who wrote the words. Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, send only to people who opted in, and avoid misleading subject lines. Why emails go to spam walks through each check.
