Their actual cart
Product names, images and prices from the checkout, so the email shows exactly what they left.
SHOPIFY ABANDONED CART EMAIL
EterMail reads open checkouts from your store and sends two on-brand reminders that take shoppers straight back to their own checkout. The flow stops the moment they order.
HOW IT WORKS
EterMail sees the open checkout within 15 minutes through its read-only connection to your store.
Their cart, with product images and prices, and one button back to their own checkout.
A second email for those who still haven’t finished. You choose whether it carries an offer.
As soon as an order comes in, the remaining reminders are cancelled.
WHAT GOES IN THE EMAIL
Product names, images and prices from the checkout, so the email shows exactly what they left.
The button opens their own checkout with the cart still filled in.
AI writes the copy from your brand profile. Edit anything before you approve.
Emails sent, clicks and the orders that followed, step by step.
DONE RIGHT
BEYOND CHECKOUT
Abandoned checkout is the flow most stores start with, and EterMail has the rest ready too: a welcome series for new subscribers, browse abandonment for people who looked at a product, a post-purchase email a week after an order suggesting what to buy next, and win-back for customers who haven’t ordered in a while.
Each reminder is a marketing email at 2 credits, about $2 per 1,000. A store sending 3,000 reminders a month uses 6,000 credits, well inside the $19 Starter plan.
A cart is abandoned when someone adds products and leaves; a checkout is abandoned when they start checking out (usually after entering their email) and don’t pay. Shopify only knows the email for abandoned checkouts, so that is what the flow uses.
Out of the box, 1 hour and 24 hours after the checkout was left. Both stop if the shopper orders.
Yes. EterMail asks you to turn it off and confirm before the flow can go live, so no one receives two reminders.
Yes. Add a discount code to either email. Many stores keep the first reminder without one and offer it only in the second.
The abandoned checkout flow needs Shopify’s checkout data. Other flows work with any data you send through the API or forms.
